Parish Council Meeting and Agenda

Much Marcle Parish Council Meeting

Councillors are summoned to attend the Parish Council meeting on 

Wednesday 16th November 2022, 

7.30pm in Much Marcle Memorial Hall  

1. Apologies for absence

2. To receive Declarations of Interest, Councillors are reminded of the need:-

  1. To update their register of interests.
  2. To declare any personal interests in items on the agenda and their nature. (Councillors may stay, take part and vote in the meeting)
  3. To declare any prejudicial interests in items on the agenda. (Councillors must leave the room for the item in which they have declared a prejudicial interest)

3. Public Participation 

Members of the public are permitted to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business included in the agenda.  The period of time, which is at the Chairman’s discretion, for public participation shall not exceed 15 minutes.  Each member of the public is entitled to speak once only in respect of business itemised on the agenda and shall not speak for more than five minutes.  Questions/comments shall be directed to the Chairman.  To include a report from  the ward member. 

4. Minutes

To approve the Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 28h September 2022, as a correct record

5. Homme House Woodland Management Plan

To consider commenting on the Homme House Draft Woodland Management Plan  

6. Community Shop

To receive a report from a representative of the Community Shop group. 

7. Defibrillator Rushall and Kynaston 

To receive an update on the installation of a Defibrillator for the Rushall Area. 

8. Platinum Jubilee     

To consider the allocation of the surplus funds received for the Queens Diamond Jubilee. 

9. Much Marcle Memorial Hall

To receive a report on Much Marcle Memorial Hall from the Parish Council representative. 

10. The Boundary Commission

To Consider the revised proposals for new constituency boundaries

12. Highways/Footpaths

12.1 Footpaths and Rights of Way  

To receive a report from the Footpath group. 

12.2 To consider the invitation for a Parish Council representative to attend a site meeting with the Traffic Engineer from Herefordshire Council, along with Ward Member Councillor Barry Durkin, to investigate possible changes to the 50mph speed limit on the A449 and the existing speed limits on the side roads off the A449 in Much Marcle.

15. Matters to be raised for next meeting

Each Councillor is requested to use this opportunity to raise items for inclusion on future agendas. Councillors are respectfully reminded that this particular item is not an opportunity for debate or decision making. 

16. Date of next meeting 

The next meeting is currently scheduled for the 11th January 2023.
