Much Marcle Parish Council Meeting

Councillors are summoned to attend the Parish Council meeting on 

Wednesday 20^th July 2022, 

7.30pm in Much Marcle Memorial Hall  

1. Apologies for absence

2. To receive Declarations of Interest, Councillors are reminded of the need:-

1. To update their register of interests.
2. To declare any personal interests in items on the agenda and their nature. (Councillors may stay, take part and vote in the meeting)
3. To declare any prejudicial interests in items on the agenda. (Councillors must leave the room for the item in which they have declared a prejudicial interest)

3. Public Participation 

Members of the public are permitted to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business included in the agenda.  The period of time, which is at the Chairman’s discretion, for public participation shall not exceed 15 minutes.  Each member of the public is entitled to speak once only in respect of business itemised on the agenda and shall not speak for more than five minutes.  Questions/comments shall be directed to the Chairman.  To include a report from  the ward member. 

4. Minutes

4.1 To approve the Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on 4th May 2022, as a correct record

4.2 To approve the Minutes of the Annual Council Meeting held on 11^th May 2022, as a correct record

4.3 To approve the Minutes of the Council Meeting held on 29^th June 2022, as a correct record

5. To Elect the Vice Chairman for 2022-23

6. Parish Council Vacancy

To receive information on the Co Option of a member to serve on the Parish Council. 

7. Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

To receive a report on the Queens Platinum Jubilee 2022 event and to consider the financial report.  

8. Allocation of Working Groups  

To consider the Councillor allocation to working groups. 

9. Waste Bins

To receive information on the waste bin collection by the bus stop outside the  Walwyn Arms. 

10. Planning

10.1 Planning applicatiosn 

Site	Whitewater, Monks Walk Orchard, HR8 2LY
Description	T1 – Oak, situated on roadside boundary, remove major deadwood from throughout crown. Longer laterals over road, reduce in length, to approximately 3 metres to reduce leverage and risk of collapse over road. Reduce lateral extending over drive to approximately 4 metres, to a suitable live point, to reduce leverage. Lightly lift lower canopy overhanging neighbouring hedge to give approximately 2 metres clearance to hedgeline. Reason – reduce weight on vulnerable branches

11.1 Footpaths and Rights of Way  

To receive a report from the Footpath group. 

11.2 To receive a report from the Highways group (Cllr F Powell)

12. Finance

12.1 To approve the summary of receipts and payments

12.2To approve the Bank Reconciliation to 30.06.2022

12.3 To approve the list of invoices for payment.

14. Matters to be raised for next meeting

Each Councillor is requested to use this opportunity to raise items for inclusion on future agendas. Councillors are respectfully reminded that this particular item is not an opportunity for debate or decision making.
