Much Marcle Parish Council Meeting

Councillors are summoned to attend the Parish Council meeting on 

Wednesday 17th March 2021, 7.30pm by Zoom Virtual Meeting 

1. Apologies for absence

2. To receive Declarations of Interest, Councillors are reminded of the need:-

  1. To update their register of interests.
  2. To declare any personal interests in items on the agenda and their nature. (Councillors may stay, take part and vote in the meeting)
  3. To declare any prejudicial interests in items on the agenda. (Councillors must leave the room for the item in which they have declared a prejudicial interest)

3. Public Participation 

Members of the public are permitted to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business included in the agenda.  The period of time, which is at the Chairman’s discretion, for public participation shall not exceed 15 minutes.  Each member of the public is entitled to speak once only in respect of business itemised on the agenda and shall not speak for more than five minutes.  Questions/comments shall be directed to the Chairman.  

4. Minutes 

To approve the Minutes of the Annual Council Meeting held on 13th January 2021, as a correct record

5. Projects

To consider any Community Projects. 

6. Parish Litter Pick 

To note the work of Councillors on continuing to litter picking in their area

and the report sent to the March edition of the Mercury. 

7. Community Parish Award

To consider the implementation of a Community Parish Award to recognise any outstanding contribution to the Parish. 

8. Flooding

To consider to the flooding at the crossroads on the A449 by the Walwyn Arms. 

9. Planning

To receive Planning decisions from Herefordshire Council

10. Highways

10.1 Footpaths and Rights of Way  

To receive a report from the Footpath group. 

10.2 To receive a report from the Highways group (Cllrs G Baker & F Powell)

11. Finance

11.1 To approve the summary of receipts and payments

11.2 To approve the Bank Reconciliation to 28.02.2020

11.3 To approve the list of invoices for payment.
