Saturday October 2nd 2021 @ 10am

This year the parish council would like to ensure the whole parish has equal attention. We will now have two start points.
Memorial Hall, Much Marcle, for the village and Westons side of the main road.
Rushall club for Rushall & Kynaston.

Litter pick.

Litter picking equipment will be available at both locations.
Filled litter bags returned to start or on request collection from remote locations. Ask your organiser.

Village tidy
This year following requests from parishioners, the parish council has expanded the morning’s work to include general tidying and cleaning activities.

These activities can include

Drainage
Clear leaves and other debris from gully grid tops and drainage grips.

Unlit traffic signs
Ensure legibility and visibility of traffic signs, including straightening, cleaning and removing vegetation

General maintenance

Clear foliage blocking the visibility of road traffic signs
Clear all minor storm debris discharged onto the highway and keep tidy all specified roads.

The above does not include main A roads. We are not allowed to litter pick, or tidy the main road through the village.

If you feel you could help with the tidy part of our morning activities, feel free to bring with you suitable equipment.
To include
Wheelbarrows, spades, brush etc

A parish councillor will be offering a trailer to take away collected debris.

A health safety briefing will take place at 10 am at each location. Teenagers and adults are welcome. For children under 16, a parent or legal guardian should be present.

In all cases, any work or activities must be within the abilities of the person taking action. Suitable safety protection clothing and equipment is worn.
