Plans for the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations for Much Marcle,
Rushall, Kynaston & Yatton are in full flow.
Members of Much Marcle Parish Council, the Memorial Hall committee and the Church, are planning a grand afternoon and evening of village celebrations to mark the Platinum Jubilee on Saturday 4th June, starting at around 3pm in the village hall and on The Bartons. It is planned that there will be refreshments, entertainment activities, a live band and fireworks, all of which we would like to be free of charge for all parish residents. On Sunday 5th June at the Church at 4.30pm there will be a Songs of Praise service with a patriotic theme followed by refreshments (1950’s style dress welcome!).
Can you help us to make this a true village celebration?Fund raising has already been launched with some very generous donations getting us off to a great start. We are looking for donations from businesses, supporters, parishioners or individuals to make the event go with a bang!
