Born and brought up in Ledbury. On leaving Ledbury Grammar school served a 4 year engineering apprenticeship, becoming a Chartered Engineer after gaining an honours degree in engineering at Aston University.
A varied business career resulted in many moves around the UK before spending several years in a small Wiltshire village where I was a Parish Councillor.
Moved with my wife Alison to Rushall in 2006. Eventually took early retirement in 2013 after working as Managing Director of a large international tyre manufacturer.
Very occupied in retirement, gardening, replanting an old Perry pear orchard, walking and restoring a vintage car.
Committed to preserving and enhancing the wonderful area and community where we are fortunate to live whilst making sure there is appropriate development to enable the younger generation to find homes here.
